Show me the Bokeh!

Any good photographer loves a challenge! So this morning, Miz Booshay of The Pioneer Woman issued an assignment: She wants to see our fall Bokeh! Well, apparently no one told the darling Miz Booshay that fall ain't fallen around here...so I had to dig through the ole archives and see what I could come up with. Oh, and Bokeh, for those who may not know, is this wonderful technique that can be used to make the background of your photos blur ever so nicely while the foreground just pops off the page. It's not hard really. I did it for years with no clue that it actually had a name. Till Miz Booshay ed-u-kated me that is. Now that I know how to use it, you know, on purpose, it's a tiny bit of an obsession. Just ask Dee, her engagement and wedding photos are full of it....but more on that later in the post. First, I will share my assignment photos with you:

Alright, this is a fall color, so it counts right??

Yeah, there's just not a lot of fall happenin' around these parts!

But it's a neato effect right?? Yall know you want to go out and give it a shot! Just be careful, you will become addicted...I know I am...just ask Deanna & Patrick:

And I love the bride/groom shot with the rings too. You're very talented :)
